Very strange dial.
I am far far far from being an expert but as I am saving some money to buy myself a beautiful 1680, I have started reading everything I could about these white dials ! (Stevedssd you have been very helpful on this, many thanks ) The coronet looks strange. The L of Rolex would make me think of a MK2 dial The alignment of the 1st and 2nd line would make me think of a MK1 or MK3 dial. The shape of the 6s would make me think of a MK2 dial The equals sign is centered even almost on the left which is strange The m of meters looks wrong the officially certified is too large compared to the first 2 lines and the alignment looks wrong. The - of the swiss - T looks wrong. once again, this what very "young" eyes see and I would me more than happy to learn if I am wrong but I would not pull the trigger on this one. |
