Daytona isn’t for everybody. I love my 116500. It’s not the most readable practical watch but it brings a smile to my face and gives me shot of dopamine whenever I do a wrist check. Go figure.

Don't see the point of asking such an obvious question. If many didn't like, how come it becomes the most difficult watch to obtain and get sold even before hitting the shelves! It was also rated as the most popular watch of the decade by multiple sources!

Yeah, not many like Daytona..

Breaking.. you can't keep title "No love for Daytona" when it's very popular watch! It makes sense for some underrated watch!

Some folks feel that way about Truffles and Foie Gras. Or single malt Scotches. Or a lot of other things that are acquired tastes and rather expensive to satisfy once acquired! But the nice thing about Daytonas is that they won't make you fat or drunk and once you own one it doesn't cost you anything to enjoy it! In fact....you'll make money on it. So it's a lot easier, cheaper and healthier way to satisfy your needs than slurping Pol Roger Churchill reserve every morning. I agree that there are some goofy things about the Daytona. Every time I try to tell what time it is I am reminded that I am presbyopic and the Chronograph requires a good pair of loupes to use. The Tachymeter is a useless decoration. It has no date function. But that's like criticizing Charlize Theron because she can't really play pool nor does she even drink Bud like in the commercial. Who cares? Sit back and enjoy the show! It's paid for!

Many of you said we all have different taste, and I agree. I know that Daytona is one of the hardest timepieces to get, if not the hardest, and I get that. It’s just they don’t get my blood pumping! I did have it on my wrist, couple of my buddies have them, one ceramic and other one not. Put them on my wrist many times, I tried to like them but nothing!
After reading all the posts I am glad I am not the only one!
I strongly believe, uy and wear what you like!
I feel much
It's ok not everything even a Daytona for everyone. It's not a newly discovered fact.

But, though I don't own or have any desire for the chronographs you have, I wouldn't walk into Omega forum to declare "no love for Speedy or Planet Ocean". Likewise I'd not go to Patek forum to say "no love for Nautilus" because I don't love that watch.

My #16528 (1999) was my grail and is a keeper. I sold my Omega long ago.

Had one, fussy dial, difficult to read and wears too small.

I dislike most Rolex references, including the Daytona. But that's how I am with most watch brands. There are a few references (at most) that I like from any given manufacturer, and the rest I don't like. Rolex is no different.

The early ones were cool and more legible I think. Vintage all the way with this model!

My favorite in my Everose, bezel in gold. Wears beautifully.

I also gave the SS White Dial Ceramic, before ceramic I didn’t care for it at all. I think yes it’s hype but a classic and good to have in collection, but wears small. Speedy I have a good everyday, but Rolex bracelets much better everything.

But if doesn’t sing...

I’d rather get another SkyD over Daytona any day

I guess I was misunderstood. I have BLRO, BLRN, and LN, DJ, OP and 126040. I love Rolex watches, just don’t care about Daytonas!

I more so prefer the 5 digit and very early 6 digit models.
