I buy most of my time pieces pre-owned so they could come from anywhere. Usually I prefer face to face in my area (southern California) which is not hard to find watches.

In this instance, I was in the market for a 5712/1A and a well known trusted seller had one available. The price he offered me seems favorable so I bought it. He just happens to be from abroad.

How is the thickness of the 5726 on the wrist? Is it thicker than the case of say a GMT-Master II? Certainly one of the most desirable objects I have seen.

Not an owner but now a big admirer...just passed a guy in my lobby who had a rose gold Nautilus on a strap with some sort of sub dial complication. The rose gold was like getting punched in the face with awesome.
