I have Amazon and Apple too (had em for many years).

My money is ALWAYS in BRK-A and BRK-B.

I liked GE when it was $7.50 ; not sure about now.

I dumped all my GE, some I had gains, some I had losses. And I moved from Berk-A to B in my retirement account so I could do some financial legerdemain. heh heh.

I would have thought on the PP sub-forum, it would all be A shares. Even if just slightly rebalancing the portfolio.

Maybe that’s the RM sub-forum!

I'm poor. Here is something interesting: I had a question about my shares, I forget what, and I called the number listed for Berkshire. Guess who answered the phone? Warren's personal secretary. We spoke for a while and she actually answered my question. Incredible.

I read The Snowball in 2008 after which my very first share purchase was a Brk-B share when they were around $3000 a share (pre 50:1 split). Bought an A share much later....

Pretty awesome that Warren's secretary answered the phone :)

I am a dreary s-o-b aren't I Jin already knows my stance on his 100k call.

I honestly still believe Patek could be sold and if so nautilus production might inch closer to demand. Not meet it but close the gap. Who knows. Tag me later when I am wrong.

I own an A share and treat it like a mutual fund. Meaning I never think about selling it (I might swap out mutual funds but consider them a "core" holding that don't get bought or sold based on my expectations for the market).

Unfortunately, I bought a second A share to trade at one point, made the smallish profit I was looking for and sold it. I should have kept it. Oh well.

This! Sick and tired of all the price speculation and pump and dump attempts (not referring to you Jin specifically, but the green Daytona BS really annoyed the hell out of me).

When I see greys advertising it for sale and mentioning John Mayer is the ad I practically barf and not because I’m a Mayer hater but because it’s just so sickening that people buy that kind of hype.

I will take the opposite view and say: SELL, SELL, SELL.
buying low and selling high that's what I like to do... Just saying. Be ready for the drop, I assure you it is coming, and it's going to be a big one. Cheers.

That s FX ,usually stocks beat savings A/C except if you buy really on the top (like now),also do not forget that stock are for dividends not for short term speculation (it s possible but then you may be disappointed except if u r a pro or at least semi pro).

I always liked the WSJ darts vs pros. The darts usually won. Like I said a few months ago I’m calling Vanguard tomorrow for some watch advice.

actually, why is it more of a hype than the nautilus aquanaut craze? the YG daytona green is very beautiful and very rare.

And that is being kind. Like 95% of professional money managers don’t consistently beat the market. But I guess it’s good not everyone indexes from a price discovery function.
