Incoming!

Very excited to have acquired this 1967 Grand Seiko 62GS—purchased from Adam/Old Expat Beast so it’s already been nicely photographed here (and I won’t bother trying to discuss historical significance as he’s surely done so better than I would), but I needed to post a few wristshots! In amazing condition for a 51 year old watch, and I’m loving it on the wrist. The red text for “Sunday” (and blue for Saturday!) in the day indication is a really cool little flourish, so this one will be seeing some solid weekend wear I suspect.

I think the clean silver dial will lend itself nicely to strap experimentation too, so more to come!
