I have been thinking of getting SS GMT IIc but everytime I think about I really don't need another watch. However, I do have this SS/Plat YM that doesn't really get a wrist time. I always find myself wearing my SS Subs and I also have a Tag AquaRacer Automatic Chrono Day/Date (love this watch) that I wear on a daily basis.

Would you sell the SS/Plat YM to accomodate the GMT IIc?

Yes, I would personally much prefer the GMT-Master IIc to the SS/Platinum Yacht-Master.

If you would rather have a GMT2c to wear and do not need money to buy it, keep the YM. If you need money to buy it flip the YM since you said you hardly wear it.

If I go ahead and buy the GMT2c, then the more the YM will not get any wrist time. If I do sell the YM, I have a feeling that I might regret later down the road. Hmmmmm....

How bout taking your S/S Plat YM to your local AD and do a comparison with the 2. Now you can judge and see for yourself which one looks better on your wrist.

Seeing you already have a S/S Sub I personally think the YM is a better fit, the Sub and GMT IIc and very similar in looks, but then again do you require the use of a second time zone watch? The Platinum YM has the same function as the Sub, but red writing and red second hand are killer.

Well, apart from the fact that the GMT-Master IIc is more functional for me, I just prefer the look of it over that of the YM... but that's a matter of taste.

Seems like I should sell my Subs instead. But I can't do that for sentimental reason. It is my very first Rolex I bought 19 years ago.

It's the most unique watch and the ONLY model with a full solid Platinum dial and bezel - none other quite like it.

Take my advice and hang on to it.......and start wearing and enjoying it like I do!!
