YM-I 116622- Platinum Dial

Hi all, I understand there were a number of updates to the platinum dial version of the YM-I when the blue dial version was introduced in 2012. Visually, are there any changes that are noticeable regarding the color of the platinum dial compared to prior versions? Thanks in advance.

The only thing I can think of is the 2006 dial change where the red font became thinner and sharper. I think since the introduction of the blue dial the whole of the bezel is now platinum whereas it was an insert. I think Jocke discovered this.

Hmmm, I think what he actually discovered is that it's still an insert and not the whole bezel. Rolex has hid the truth in a bunch of jargon. The explanation for the YM2 which has a platinum bezel is different than the explanation of the YM's bezel.
The YM2's is solid platinum as the literature was pretty clear but on the YM it seem it still may be an insert.
