Icon5 YM2 pusher differences question

I noticed yesterday that the pushers on my YM2 are different. The stop/start (top) has two ridges cut into it whilst the reset/set (bottom) has three ridges cut into it. I checked the Rolex website and confirmed it. Here is a screenshot from the Rolex site with the differences marked. Does any one have any ideas why ? Is it something to do with the pusher functions or just cosmetic ?

Very good, thanks. So it's purely cosmetic, indicating the two and three functions of the respective pusher and serves no other purpose ?

It's so the watchmaker should put the right crown at the right position at the case.

Interesting fact about the YM II:

The pushers are fashioned after a ship's tie-down.

They are so différents in shape that it's nearly impossible to make this kind of error.

A good observation Nathan, and one that I had noticed when I first got mine....

The subtle nuances of this watch is what makes me enjoy it even more!!

Here's a pic of the second hands sub-dial. I love the way the dial is ribbed within the gold..

Enjoy the watch!
