YM2 SS owners....your thoughts please

Hi Gang,

Currently have an EXP2 polar, 16710 pepsi, bluesy sub (aluminum), and an SD4000 (and other non-rolex)

I've become quite fixated on the YM2 in SS. While I'll never need the regatta timer, I'm fascinated nonetheless by the movement, the command bezel, as well as the overall appearance of the watch. IMHO, its truly stunning.

I've been pretty thoughtful as I've built up my Rolex collection and love each piece today as much as the day I got it. The price of the YM2, coupled with the boldness of the design, is giving me a bit of pause. I would love to hear from current owners on how they feel about the watch having lived with it a while. I guess the fundamental question is has the love faded, or is it as amazing as the day you bought it?

Thanks much....
Dave

Current Lineup, potentially awaiting a YM2 SS...

Had it about a year...still amazing.

Getting the right fit is the trick, however. It's such a big watch, you don't want it flopping around or squeezing your wrist.

I've spent some time with it on the wrist on a few occasions now and it felt absolutely perfect. It's truly great. Glad to know that you are still loving yours! May I ask if you wear it in a large rotation, or do you wear it very often?

I also half a somewhat similar collection, a tt bluesy sub, a gmt (BLNR), a yg DD and a tt YM II. they each have their own distinct roles in my collection, and I love each and every one of them. I say go for it!

I still love mine, it is in my regular rotation and I never get tired of looking at it. The colors are truly stunning. They all come together so well. It has great wrist presence and it really does get eye balled regularly due to its vibrant blue and white along with the touch of red. It's uniqueness also allows it to stand out from the crowd.

Larry is spot on about fitment!! Takes awhile to get it but when you do it is very comfortable.

I had one when they were first released, wore is daily until a colleague convinced me to sell it to him. He world it somewhat rarely as his go to is his Deepsea.

Around two months ago I purchased it back as he bought a YG YM II. I kept it for around 2 weeks and traded it in on my MP. I kinda regret not keeping it as it was really nice. In hindsight I should have just added instead of trading.

Definitely worth trying on!!

About one week in every 5 or so. It takes a day to get used to it, but it feels great when you do.

Thank you Larry. I'd most likely wear it in a similar rotation. Unless I decide to field an America's Cup boat. :-)

Love mine. Had to get an extra link to get a fit on my 7.5" wrist but feels great. Found it weird since it's a large watch and my gmt was fine with the standard bracelet. Either way tho great watch!

It's very comfortable on the wrist.
Don't let the size fool you, it's slim enough to feel like a gmt or sub.
