1665 advice please

I've been offered a full-set 1665 from 1983. Serial 8xxxxx. From the attached please can you confirm it looks good. It has had movement service but everything else absolutely untouched. Around £10k. Thanks in advance

If you are not too bothered about 'full set' Mike Wood has a couple at about £8k, you will struggle to buy from anyone better.

IMO it's within the price range for a full set 1665 as you described.

Thanks guys. I like the fact it's untouched and raw.

That's about $15K for a full-set 1665? I don't think that's such a bad price, even though it's a late 1665 and not one of the early white versions, which usually bring higher prices. And that assumes everything checks out, of course. One question I'd have is ... Why is the date wheel dropping like that in the date window if it's had a recent service? That could indicate that there's a problem with the movement. Good luck either way.

I think that's over priced..
I looked at an absolute complete full set 1980 1665, untouched never polished and in perfect condition last year, the fantastic condition compared to the one you've posted was like chalk and cheese ... the seller wanted £10k.
I let it go, and a few days later a lovely double red appeared for only a little more :D

I've seen other full sets in similar condition go for around 17K USD. If the watch and peripherals check out I think the price is reasonable.

just checked the date issue. Seller assures me that it is just him moving date to photo the open 6 in 26. I've bought from him before and I'm seeing it hopefully tomorrow before I decide. he offers a guarantee as well. Thanks for heads-up
