Odd... I don't see Bluesy, Rollie, Kermit, Hulk, Batman or Bruiser on the list. Why would a company like Rolex not readily adopt such mature, elegant and distinguished sounding nicknames for their timepieces?
Google "ROLEX BATMAN" and see what comes up.

I still don't understand under what circumstances the queen mother at Rolex can forbid someone from using one of "their" terms.
I've seen thousands of sales or auction offerings and had a dozen or so of my own where those terms were used in reference to Rolex watches or parts and don't recall any ill effect, unless total loss of memory of the event is one of them. Is this something along the lines of the Cartier and use of Tank as a descriptor for other makers watches situation? |

Probably like the word Superbowl is registered with the NFL, and if you use it with out paying the proper license fee, they will shut you down.Thats why you will hear a lot of companies use the phrase "Big Game"

Although I'm not a fan of it I always thought that Rolex also made the word cyclops and if so it should be on the list as well.
