Buy Now or Later

My wife turns 40 next July and i have been thinking of getting her another rolex. I know she'd like a TT as she a couple of SS.

I have narrowed it down to these 2 which i assume will be readily available at one of the heathrow airports. However as Rolex tend to take their prices up without notice, will you suggest i get it now or simply just wait. I doubt any price increase will make a significant difference but a good deal wont be frowned at.

Any thoughts or anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks

I do not think prices will change by July 2018. Also, I vote for the Everose option.

You either want the watch now or you don't.

Simple.

It's always better to get a watch now

I'd say go ahead and pick it up. Why not.

Seeing as the value of Sterling seems to have become a meter for how Brexit is going, I say buy now!

I like the RG more and agree with the guys to buy now, the pound and the Rolex situation here is still pretty bad so not sure how much longer Rolex can and want to maintain this status quo. A price rise before the year is out and 1 year after the last one would make sense.

I would say if you know what you want (and are sure you or she won't change your mind) and are prepared to pay, there's little downside to buying now. We don't know what price increase may or may not come, but I would doubt the price would go down. We also don't know of availability of the model you want in a year.

Quick thought: for the new AD price of these choices, you could easily obtain a FULL PM model, lightly used. I recently purchased a YG 29mm yachtmaster for my wife and we both love it.
