Vegas next weekend

Hey there, I'm going to Vegas from June 1st to June 4th, where do you guys recommend me to have dinner with the wife and friends? And also grab some good beers!

Also, any good dealers around the area?

Thanks!

My wife and usually stay at the four seasons. As for dinner the whole city is filled with the best restaurants. Just have to decide what you would like to have.

My wife really enjoyed Costa in Mare at the Wynn. I had reserved a cabana.

Every hotel has top notch amenities nowadays so I just stay in-house and visit all the restaurants, pools, spas, bars, at the current hotel I'm staying at. Then on the next trip, do the same but try out another hotel. Besides, it actually becomes a cluster leaving the hotel.

I'll 2nd the Four Seasons. Quiet and a nice respite from the noisy crowds and smoke filled casinos. No gaming in this hotel but it has direct access to the Mandalay Bay casino.

When I do Vegas it is a mix of high priced steak restaurants and In-N-Out. So many good/great restaurants to choose from that you can't really go wrong. One thing I really love, and always recommend to friends, is the Asian Nachos from Grand Lux Cafe. Everyone I have ever recommended them to has called or text that night to tell me how delicious they are.

Thanks everyone, I will do for sure Four Seasons. I've been at Mare, it's great. Will try to go to Raos, Javier's, Grand Lux Cafe and Eatt Gourme Bistro. Plenty of options now.

Hope that helps.
Thanks, I appreciate the tip.

Nice... you must have seen my comment just before I deleted it. I only deleted it because I checked rates for your dates and noticed that the Strip View Studio was coming in a lot higher then usual... its usually not such a big jump over the other room rates below it ($400ish, not $600ish). Anyway, it is a great room, and there must not be many left for your dates... which probably caused the big bump in price. Good luck in Vegas!

When I'm in Vegas, I always make sure I go to Nobu. Its pricey, but I think it is phenomenal. If you're looking for something a little different, Mesa Grill in Caesars is awesome and not a clubby, loud type of environment. For steak, I would recommend CUT.

If you provide some criteria like price, cuisine, etc, we could provide some recs more accurately tailored to you.

There may be an entire thread on the meeting places forum where over 50 members of TRF just got together.

Raku - Japanese charcoal grille
Otto Enoteca - mid priced Batalli
Lobster Me - pretty good lobster rolls

We always try a new high end eatery every time we go to Vegas, but these always seem to be in the mix.

Two more really good off strip places. Flock and Fowl for lunch, great Hainan chicken etc.
District One for pho and Vietnamese, steamed pork belly buns are fantastic. Emerils at the MGM has the perfect Vegas breakfast, a bowl of gumbo and a couple corn muffins. Carnevino in the Palazzo is excellent also.

Agreed every time my wife and I go to Vegas we stay at the Four Seasons. Love the fact it is off the strip somewhat.
