First Rolex: Explorer 1

Hello,
I have been reading for awhile, but haven't posted much. I have been eyeing an explorer since the update version was announced at Basel last year. Last week I pulled the trigger and bought one from an AD.

I am loving it so far. I have a pretty varied collection in general. This one fits in nicely. It is the 39 mm model, but actually wears a little larger.

This seems to be a good starting point in the Brand. I can see it being a first of a few.

Thanks for reading

Congrats on your first!

The explorer is an all around winner in the size, comfort, looks, quality, for your money category IMO. Enjoy

Great choice! I picked one up in December and it's gotten a ton of wrist time. Such a wonderful watch.

Congrats. You're right it is a great starting point in the brand but also a great starting point in general.

I was surprised too when I tried one on not long ago that for 39mm it wears fairly large (not overly large though).
