Is it possible to buy solid gold spring bars?

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy solid gold spring bars for a presidential or for any gold model without having to deal with the RSC? I lost mine while I was changing the bracelet for the leather strap which I am trying to avoid because the hollow lugs are getting too frail.

I know they use solid gold ones to avoid the metal ones from eating out the lug hole with the friction as gold is soft. I phoned a few watch supply houses and was informed that only Rolex Service centers keep them. I doubt they would sell them without having one wanting to do a complete service for $thousands which I only had done 3 years ago. I have seen some generic gold plated ones on ebay but is it also possible to get some generic solid gold ones?

Even the bracelet screws are real 18Kt gold and quite expensive to replace around $80-$100 each or even more now.And yes the Rolex spring bars are gold except for the internal spring and those are quite expensive too but you should be able to get them from any AD that will order them..

A nearby watchmaker with a Rolex parts account is another source to consider...

Since you're in Margate just go to Mayors and order them.

They might even have them in stock.

You might want to eat dinner first. The cost will make you sick.

I'd think gold spring bars would be awfully weak.

Steel spring bars would do a number on an 18K case...

Good point.

Another reason I prefer SS watches. I don't even fully trust SS springbars.

As for crabs, I could have sworn there was a Joe's in Margate.

Using steel spring bars on a 18k case is a disaster?

Errrr... Margate is not a place that has joes stone crab.
It's in the City of Miami Beach.

Margate is deep suburbs, far far away near the everglades.

I have a PM #daytona in rose gold & my spring bars are not RG.
they looked like fake YG ones.

Huh?

Rolex does not produce everose spring bars. they use YG in all rose iterations. My Everose daytona also has YG spring bars.

Could you use YG spring bars on WG case?

Everose, whitegold and yellowgold pushpins are available from Rolex. Rolex never uses steel pushpins in gold watches.
The whitegold ones have some extra stripe markings on them to differentiate from steel ones.
