I love that you wear your PM Rolex in the OR! I've had my YG DDII for 5 years now and it's been on my wrist every day and everywhere since purchase.

I'm an anesthesiologist too, doing it all except pediatric hearts, and heart, lung, and brain transplants!

Excellent picture, good sir.

Hello everyone, I am thinking of buying a two tone sub date with the blue dial and was wondering if it would be subject to interference from magnetic fields - I am a neuroradiologist and am always in close proximity to mri machines but obviously never in the same room as the actual Mri machine. I was wondering how susceptible any of the models would be to low level magnetic fields

Thanks in advance

First,welcome to TRF!
I'm not an expert on this. I do know a Milgauss would be perfect.

Someone else will chime in soon.

Looks old and British like an MGTC but not an MG badge and I think Morgans have a winged badge.
Whatever can it be?

Where did you do your neurorad fellowship?

Surprised you don't know that the MRI exam room requires shielding not just from external magnetic fields, but also so there is no more than 5 gauss beyond the exam room/static field. (FDA requirement) If there is, signs would need to be posted in case someone walks by with a pacer on (or someone super worried about their watch!)

Anyways...get the sub, it has the parachrom mainspring.
