Congrats John on 10K posts,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us and thanks for helping me find a great GMT to add to my collection. I am fairly new here and you were friendly and helpful to me.

Dig your "daily" 16750, really epitomizes the term tool watch. That insert is a thing of beauty.

10K very helpful and insightful posts for sure. I've had a few of your GMT's come my way and don't doubt that it will continue in the future.

This for me as well! A true gentleman and unmatched expertise on the fabulous GMT references. I will always treasure the 1675 (my Avitar) and 16750 that you made available to me...the Crown Jewels in my collection for sure.
Best wishes John and looking forward to your next 10,000 posts.

My only Rolex is a GMT and I chose it from what I learned on this forum. Almost everything I know about the ref came from your posts.

Congrats on 10K!

Amazing collection and a great story re the GMT master! Must say that even though I am a Sub/SD guy, my daily wearer is increasingly my 86 GMT 16750 Pepsi - just love the feel and layout of the watch! I doubt it will be my last - have already picked up a 1675 to compliment it! One regret I have is flipping a couple of 16710s a while back including a nice F serial Pepsi - think this will be the next on the list though!

Aloha John, all I can add is mahalo for your contributions and knowledge you have shared with all of us on this site. You are a scholar and gentleman, wonderful to work with when either purchasing a watch from you or asking for your opinion. You have always answered all of my questions or concerns.

For some of you that do not know this man he is one of the most trusted person on this site. If you are looking to purchase a watch from John or are asking an opinion on another watch. He is a straight shooter and will not bullsh-t you to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I have purchased at least one watch from John (guilty) more than one and they are all exactly as described and all were amazing peices that is still enjoy to this day.

Mahalo John and I cannot wait to post again when you hit the 20K post. Mahalo for being here for everyone on this site and most of all have a Merry Christmas my friend!

Aloha from Kauai.

I haven't been on TRF for a few months but when I saw this post I had to login. I fell in love with a thumbnail of a 1675 before I even knew it was a Rolex or even called a 1675. My Googling led me to TRF and I soon discovered Springer's posts and his incredible wealth of knowledge, gained first-hand across the years.

John, you've been an incredible source of inspiration, knowledge and advice to me since - not to mention hundreds of others in person, and tens of thousands online. I consider it a pleasure and privilege that you've spent time talking with me about GMTs and life in general.

Congrats to you and here's to your next 10,000!

While I am a 'lay' collector, I am diligent in learning and accumulating knowledge and across my research across multiple sites, resources and people, over the last couple of years to know enough to definitively say that you are The GMT Master.

Not in particular, but the 1977 pictured here is my favorite which I have owned for several years. Very original and complete.
