16013 datejust longevity

Hi

I have a 16013 datejust and i am 26 years old. The watch is from 1979 and was worn sparingly and recently serviced. Do you think I will have any problems keeping it for 40+ years and will rolex continue to service the watch?

Thank You

I have one from about 1984. Its a really great watch, sturdy with a good reserve and excellent time keeping.

If Rolex won't service it any number of independents will.

That watch will last you the rest of your life if you take care of it.

As long as no weird modifications were done to it rolex will service it. They will replace parts as needed as well. Rolex products with proper servicing can last much longer than you and i haha.

The watch will last at least a century with care and spa visits but you will buy a few new bracelets.

Had a 16030 from 1978 which I wore regularly for many years until recently and now my son proudly continues to wear it. Several routine services and still runs like a top.

I have a 16613 and I wonder how much a replacement bracelet would be. I thought we could do the Michael Young thing and the bracelet would last forever too.
