Selling my GMT and moving all my money into the DD40 "fund" means I would get it mid March......So between now and then I will be visiting my AD to try on, sample and test different models....although I'm pretty confident in the direction I'm travelling.

All this banter has made me wonder something.....and this question is posed to those of you like me who do not have a significant disposable income.....how do you feel about sinking all your funds into "the one watch" vs having several great watches. I mean, I could keep my GMT TT, Hulk and Polar Exp II and have a phenomenal trio or put it all together for one master timepiece. Ha..I guess this is part II of the thread!

Too late for this talk...DD40 YG (romans)...period

But seriously, get the DD40 YG and you can always add a SS again later on.

Thanks but I just don't think the blue color will be the best all around wear with anything color. That's why I keep leaning toward the silver dial on the DD40....goes with everything.

You've already got your mind set on the DD 40. Don't back out now.

You can always add the SS pieces after.

Two beauties, congrats Ken excellent taste Though I was more into Silver Roman YG
which Ive seen in person. Every time I see a pic of your DD40 & since I havent
seen it yet in the flesh, looks like might be the best dial for it.

Yes, all is in place, my friend. Having a problem sleeping now. Will be at my AD'S door step tomorrow morning when they open up. Too bad they open at 1100am.

You are on a perfect track. You will not go wrong with the Day-Date Silver motif dial as Ken has. I wear my YG everyday and with everything. As Ken said, at least take look at the YG Sub Sunburst dial.

In all honesty in a couple of years I think you might find yourself with a DD40 and a YG Subc. Happens to many of us, with TRF's help you just find a way.
