I got more unsolicited compliments on the Monster in the first week than I did with the Multistrada in 4 years.... In the end its what you like and what works for you.

The Multi is definitely a heavier bike but once you are moving that weight just seems to disappear and the bike just begs you to push it harder. I don't care about compliments. That is meaningless to me. This was my bike. Basically, the same bike you have. I took this picture when I did the 15,000 mile service (valve adjustment and timing belts). It was tough to part with it. I had an Ohlins rear shock (stock shock was garbage on that bike), Termignoni exhaust and a few other mods on it. I had a number of problems with the Monster too but I won't go into detail here. Suffice it to say, the Multistrada has been a bit more reliable. |
