My New Seiko SKX007 - with Mandatory Wrist Shot ;)

Hey Guys

I was excited to pick up my new Seiko SKX007 recently, so thought I'd share a couple of mandatory wrist-shots.

And I thought it only appropriate, seeing as it's beer-o'clock on a Thursday here (which is almost Friday) to have a Japanese beer with my new SKX.

Loving it so far - perfect size, and the quality for the price is amazing. I have a couple more Seiko's incoming in the next couple of weeks. Weird how I get as much pleasure from such an affordable piece as I do from Rolex or Panerai.

Great watch. I believe there is a lot of value in the Seiko line-up, especially in the dive watches. I almost bought this watch but opted for a turtle instead. Enjoy!

Big fan. I'm not in a place in Life where I can afford a Rolex currently. But my Son knows my Love of good watches, and gifted me this SRP775 (New Turtle) for Christmas. It's the only watch I've worn since. Tougher than I am, VERY accurate so far, and LOVE the classic 6309 style.

Very nice - is that black and gold on the bezel? I can't quite tell from the photo.

Great watch. Although I own Rolex, Lange & Patek - I'm not above owing this piece. I love it and use it for beach days and as a beater.

Yep. Gold on bezel, hands, hour markers, and dial print. Here's good shot from timeandtidewatches.com. Hard to see, even in person, but the metal surrounding the hour markers is gold colored as well. Subtle, but a nice touch.

Nice pick up! Seiko can be addictive. Such great value. Same is true throughout their line up. $5k Grand Seiko wears like a $20k Swiss watch. It's pretty impressive.

I used to daily my skx007 until my BLNR. Now it's hard to take that one off.

Love the SKX!

In fact I love it so much I have both the 007 and the 013, always hard to decide which one to wear.

LOL - deciding which to wear is a "good problem" to have ;)

Looks good in Venice!

specs have it listed as 46.5 as opposed to the 42.5 for the SKX. it definitely has a bulkier, more substantial wrist presence, just because it sits so high up.

kind of what you'd expect if you took off a 14060 and put on a DSSD

took the SRP to St. Lucia in November and swam in the ocean and the pool for the entire week and I never worried about a thing. they're beautiful tanks!

Very nice!

I gave my "Pepsi" to youngest son some months ago. I missed it so I bought an all blue Prospex Turtle. I feel whole again. :D

I agree a Seiko diver to be a must-have in one's collection.
