Most importantly, congratulations on this terrific timepiece! It's absolutely magnificent and looks perfect on your wrist.

My question is regarding it's "NOS" status. I don't want to get too tangential, but with production of this watch ending in 2006, and yearly numbers of only around 250, how did this remain unsold for 10+ years?? It's certainly no ugly duckling!

The only reason I ask is that we often use terms like "NOS", "BNIB", "LNIB" etc on these forums to describe condition. It may be semantics, but genuinely curious to know if this watch actually was found in the back vault of defunct AD? Regardless, it's absolutely pristine and you're a lucky man to have found such a watch!

Thank you

I may use the wrong term, I refer to the condition of the watch. I bought the watch from a collector who keep the watch unworn since it left the AD.

Thanks for clarifying. It really makes little difference to me, but there are certain words that have become almost sacrosanct. "Trusted Sellers" comes to mind.

NOS condition makes perfect sense.

Semantics aside, it's a stunning watch!
