My quest for the perfect daily watch

Hi folks,

In the following weeks I'll give a long try to each of my 3 favorite watches, in order to find which one is the ultimate daily beater, at least for me...!

The contenders are :

The Mighty 14060M;
The Gorgeous 16710BLRO;
The Humble 114270.

My criteria will be:

General looks and wrist presence;
Comfort;
Fun Factor;
Accuracy.

I'll be wearing each watch 24/7 for a 7-day period to make sure that the wearing pattern will be identical, especially for accuracy and comfort.

The polls are open! Which one is your favorite?

This week is Explorer's Week!

Pics to follow, stay tuned!

Accuracy will be luck of the draw. Any of those three can be regulated to equal accuracy with the others.

Wow, you just named my ideal trio. If forced to pick one, it'd be my own daily wearer, the 16710.

Have to go 16710 on this one. Typically more of a Sub fan as I don't use GMT function much and on the modern ones I really like the Glidelock. But if we're talking 5 digit and the Pepsi is in the mix then I got to give the nod to the BLRO...that bezel is such a classic.

Agreed...the rest is really aesthetics because they're all very comfortable...maybe give a nod to the explorer but minor.....tough tough pick to choose just one, all excellent references.

Of course: that's purely for testing purposes, they're all great timekeepers.

Not necessarily, so no obvious advantage for any of the three!

That's what I usually do; by doing this exercice, I'm simply forcing myself to wear only one for a certain period of time and wear the heck out of it . It has absolutely no other purpose than Fun and enjoying these fine timepieces!

The BLRO is the ultimate watch in terms of versatility with all the different bezel/strap options available.

For me, a daily watch needs to display the date. From your options, that's the GMT.

No need to force a daily. Just enjoy all three and put on whichever one you're feeling that morning. Don't over think it.

The data function makes the choice for me. The sub would be it if one really needed a bezel timer.
