Why, oh why...

do I already want to buy another Rolex? My first purchase was a blue stick smooth bezel DJ2 three weeks ago. Then, last Friday, I got the call for the DaytonaC. While I love my watches so far, I've got the itch for a 16710 and all bezel variations. Will this madness ever stop? Maybe part of it is I haven't worn the Daytona since buying it as it's my early 40th birthday gift. I already told my wife that I'm holding off buying another watch for awhile too after.

You should have started with the 16710. Who knows, then you might have been satisfied for a while!

True, but then I would have gotten the call for the Daytona and things would have been a big mess for my wallet!

You are absolutely right. Funny thing--my wife told me to stay of TRF this past Friday as I was on the forums too much (so subjective), which I obliged. But then, I hopped back on after my AD called with the DaytonaC! Try staying off TRF for a day--it's tough!

Both are fabulous! I'm afraid to say the watch addiction will be around for awhile, but do enjoy what you already have. Perhaps your wife would like one too as it's nice to share the Rolex experience with your significant other. Cheers!

Nah, once you wear your Daytona, you'll be even more addicted to Rolex watches and want them all

Congrats on your recent pick ups

This.

Stay away from here and your Rolex desires will subside. It's the photos.

You have 2 great watches. I would wear them for some specified period of time before you go back to the well. Your wants and desires will change over time. Keep looking and try to hone in on the next one. I usually allow myself, 1 maybe 2 high end watches per year, usually around bonus time. It's a good way to keep impulses in check. The search and anticipation is part of the fun.

I bought her a Cartier Tank Francaise 3 years ago, however she has no interest (at the moment) for a Rolex. I'm sure I'll change her mind

Definitely sound advice as my wants in a Rolex changed even in the last 3 months! I've gone from wanting the BLNR to the Bluesy then got on the Daytona waitlist. Since I've always wanted a DJ, I thought I'd start with this as my first purchase.
