Had to share...A nice 1655 mk1

This one just ticks so many boxes.....wanted to share even though I dun do incoming threads usually, fresh back from service....I know it's made its rounds on VRF/TRF members but I can say it's not going anywhere from here:

So...so....hot.

Just a standard service with new oil/cleaning since it had funky amplitude in certain positions...and after opening there seemed to be some small debris so just to be safe serviced it. Watchmaker also replaced the crown tube since it was worn.

Thanks for the kind words gents, I'm really digging it....I know a certain vintage buddy is reading this and saying I told you so hah...I said I wasn't interested in this when I started out hunting gmt/divers.....but the more I saw it the more entranced I became...hard to find a good sample too these days.

So, so nice. The 1655 is most unique vintage Rolex, IMHO. Nothing like it. Big congrats!

Looks amazing!

I'm not into vintage, but that one would make me change my mind.

Enjoy

Impressive, really nice shots! I hear you when you say this model grows on you every time you see it. I have always skipped over this model but lately I've been appreciating its quirky traits more and more.
