So a friend viewed this earlier today and is considering making an offer.
The dial we know is service and hands are shot.
Serial is 123xxx
Non-brevet crown however the reference number (no picture available) displays BREVET + above it. Is this consistent with the serial range?
The caseback he is unable to remove so the price to be offered factors in movement unseen.
So my question is is this legit? Really sorry I can't offer any more info or pictures. The bezel seems ok to me.
Any information would be much appreciated.

Looks the part. The money is in that insert. Probably worth as much as the watch in that condition, if real.

Agreed. Case looks like it could be used for something as well.

Either buy as parts or if you already own correct dial and hands.
