Wow thanks for all the responses. I'm certain this watch will never be sold as I will cherish it forever. Its truly a struggle to make it through the days right now but I know it time I'll be able to focus on the good memories instead of focusing on the sadness. He is in a better place and pain free today.

Wow. My condolences to you. What a beautiful but sad story. You made a great choice on the purchase, as I say to everyone who buys a sub date. You really can't go wrong with that purchase and I'm sure you will enjoy it and wear it and pass it on to your kids. Congrats.

So sorry for your loss. I'm glad to hear that you had a bonding moment with your dad talking about the watch. I hope it brings you fond memories of him every time you look at it. I lost my dad 15 years ago and know the emotions you must be going through. Treasure that watch. It's got an incredibly warm history behind it.

Enjoy the sub in your Dad's honor. I'm sure he was proud of you and truly enjoyed the watch talk you were able to have with him. I too have lost my father and understand the void. Prayers going up for you and your family.

Very sorry for your loss. I am convinced that that Sub now has "absorbed" some of your dad's energy and spirit.

Very sorry for your loss.
For me the stories around a watch are what it's all about, and this seems like the perfect way to keep those memories close and with you.
