What genre of watch do you gravitate to? Pics wanted

I have always liked dress or smart sports casual. I never gravitated to all out sports watches like divers.

Past watches had been Omega Moon watch, Omega Seamster (sold it 6 months after purchase) father loaned me his DJ2 and Explorer 1 2016

Current watch OP39 rhodium.

I'm sucker for timing bezel.

That's meant my collection mostly based on divers.

I like a little of everything and I find over the years my taste changes what I once hated I now love and what I once loved is now just ok.

Great watches out there

It goes to show we all like different things and should always listen to our own opinions.

Drooling over anakyn101's collection, into the same but only bought new so far.

Anything with a bezel. Even got the wifey onto something with a bezel.

Sports watches. Preferably a timing function (bezel or chrono)

I'll second that! I now find I like the "understated" watches in SS aka explorer, op, sub (not the sub date), dj domed bezel.

When I eventually make the jump into PM I actually like the sportier ones, the sub date and the Daytona.

I used to be the exact opposite when I started my journey! I think now I look more at versatility as any of the watches can be at home in almost any situation.

Definitely tool watches and predominantly dive watches but I do have two aviation style watches.

Not a dress watch fan, they don't look rugged enough for me. That. Was until I saw the DJ41 Dark Rhodium the other day, now I fancy one of them.....is that a true dress watch though ??

Anakyn101....you are making a lot of people jealous with that collection. If you haven't already you should create a separate thread and tell us a bit more about some of your pieces, how you came buy them. I would think that would be an interesting story.

I like sports and sports/dress watches such as the DD and Nautilus, I'm not so much into pure dress on leather straps, altho I'd like a nice Lange one day.

⬆️⬆️⬆️ Good thoughts... I agree! Used to be mainly sports, now I like a good mix .....from subs to daytonas, DD's and DJ's.

The icons....

I go for the iconic standards...

Five digit Sub and DJ for me but did upgrade my wife to a six digit DJ as she strongly prefers the "nicer" bracelet...
