Rolex Date 1500 bracelet

Hi guys,

This is my first post here. I've got a 1500 without bracelet.
What bracelet and end link number should i look for to fit the watch?
Would the modern fully solid bracelet like the 70190 or 72190 fit the 1500 case and lugs?
If not, are there any Rolex bracelet that have SEL and solid center links that can fit?
Last question, where is the best place to buy Rolex original bracelet that have minimal risk of fake and not cost a fortune like buying straight from AD or RSCs?

Depends on the age of your 1500. Early models do not have the machined case that will accept any SEL end link.

Rolex parts are generally only sold by Rolex Dealers on exchange and seldom over the counter to individuals. You would have to find a bracelet on open market sources

I did further research and found that the latest bracelet that can fit the 1500 is 78530 with 557 end links. And it seems like the 78530 have 2 versions. Earlier version with hollow links and later version with solid links. How do i tell them apart? I guess the “heavy” in the listing name suppose to be those with solid links?

I _think_ you want a 78350 with 557 end links for that. A 7835 with 257/357 end links would also work and fit, but it has folded links.

Correct. They’re not rare or very hard to find.

Yeah i mistyped it. I meant the 78350. But 78350 come in both hollow and solid links version, right? How do i tell from the listing that they are solid. I prefer the solid one for longevity and no stretch

No, the earlier bracelet is a 7835.

Note however that sometimes you run into cobbled together bracelets where you might have a 78350 clasp with 7835 links or the other way around.

You need to check that the clasp says 78350 and the last link on each side is stamped 78350.

what if the clasp has no number?? And the bracelet is 7835 19 (the 19 is placed below the 7835)
