Reasoning for Deville Annual Calendar Deep Discounts?

It seems that the black dial/strap Deville Annual Calendar can be had for <$4K on multiple sites. It's even lower than standard Deville date watches. There are a few others that are priced low, but this one is discounted really deeply.

Does anybody have any idea (or musings about) why this particular color/model combination can be had so inexpensively?

I’ve found it be really thick for a proper dress watch. Just speculating that’s why it may not be very popular.

Because its not a Seamaster or Speedmaster?

I think the hour vision is awesome looking with the clear case side

Agreed.

Just wears too big for that style of watch. Real shame as I want to like it, but in person it just looks...off.

I decided to buy the Deville Hour Vision Annual Calendar.

Should have it by Tuesday. Can't wait!

I don’t think the De Ville range is a biggie for Omega hence pricing etc
I’d be really interested to find out about yr Hour Vision as ive been looking at them recently.
You got the one with sapphire sides? Did you get the white dial with blue secs hands?

Yes. That's the one. I haven't received it yet, but went to the Omega boutique today and tried on the exact watch. I wish I could have gotten it with the stainless bracelet instead of the black strap, but, I still like it. It is thick though - 13mm.

Thanks for the reply. I’m due try on a similar one this Wednesday at the AD. Yes, the bracelet is killer and looks extreamly well made and articulating but on a nice croc strap it looks super classy. Pls update with pics once received

I have the Aqua Terra one; it has the same 8601 movement.
Love it. Great value for an awesome complication.

It arrived. I just couldn't handle the strap, so I found a bracelet that I liked and had it installed. It's gotten a lot of wrist time in the past week. Love it.

Pics are in this post.

If you get one, enjoy! It's a really good looking watch!
