I recently added the Tudor redheaded step child....BB41. Its no rolex, but a great watch all the same. Now I am getting the GMT bug.

My BB58. Love it; dial, hands, proportions, everything. Not many of us love the snowflake hands but they’ve been on Tudor divers for fifty years now. And I love a bit of tradition.

Tudor and Rolex are like a pair of gloves, they both fit very well and feel right. The only problem is that it starts a whole new collection of both Rolex and Tudor watches

The GMT Tudor was the darling and most talked about watch in last year Beselworld. It screams quality, in-house movement, 70 hours reserve and a gorgeous design... what not to like. I have a number of Rolex watches and I feel Tudor is on par with its sister company. Great built, accurate great brand with a very bright future.

The black bay 41 is too big for my liking but this one works well. Like the 58 also and hope they put some more dial options out this week.

Love the designs but can't get on with the sizes. They're huge on my wrist. of the newer ones I have my eye on a 36mm Heritage Ranger and I quite like the North Face shame it doesn't have a more "normal" set of lugs.

Very hard not to love. Bought a Black Bay last year (black face) with leather strap (also came with a NATO). 41MM and they now have BB that is 39 MM and slightly slimmer. Also, bought from an AD at a discount! Great watch, great value!

To play devil’s advocate, teething issues with new in-house movements and reports of pretty bad service center service.

But, yes, decent watch for the price. But, since Tudor shares the Rolex design language, I’m just not sure I wouldn’t rather either save more for a Rolex or buy a different brand.

I think they are fantastic. Had a BB red, a BB bronze in the past and now have a BB 58 which has been my favourite so far, due to the proportions which are spot on.

As others have said they are less blingy, more tooly. The design is allowed to go to places Rolex would never dream of (and quite rightly so). Tudor are the cheeky brother to Rolex. But don't think the quality isn't top notch. It really is and the mechanics are unbeatable at the price point. In fact its unbeatable at the price point on all levels....

If they bring out a Tudor sub at Basel, maybe a version with no 'faux patina' but in a tool watch traditional style and size, then Tudor will hit it out the park.

Owned a BB Eta for 5 years, a 114060 for 1 year and I am
now in the market for the BB GMT...
There is not a single aspect that I don’t like about the BB... it’s quality, presence, heritage, looks, versatility.. I love my Rolex, but there is just something special about Tudor... modern classic!

I’m sure the Tudor is an excellent watch, but I can’t get over “it’s not a Rolex” feeling.

This is less of an issue if you already have a rolex, and the styles are different.

I get that some people will consider Tudor the poor man's rolex, but modern Tudor's have their own styling cues that differ.

This is my chief complaint should they come out with a new Tudor sub. My opinion is that Tudor should continue with their own models, as opposed to the old days with virtual copies of Rolex models with eta movements.

No doubt they are bullet proof, and on the right wrist they look great - just I have had to concede not mine.

I thoroughly reccomend the harrods if you can get one. Lovely shade of green.

Looking good! The snowflake hands I didn’t like at first, but once you get used to the hands and knowing the history...

What do you think of Rolex’s little brother, Tudor? Any experiences with Tudor in you

I love the Tudor Big Blocks and Small Blocks. Can easily hold its weight against the Daytona of the same era.

I’ve got a Harrods a Bucherer and a GMT. I’m not a big fan of the GMT that everyone else seems to like. I have a 16710 that I prefer.

I was all set to buy a BB this week until I tried it on. It was way too blocky and thick for my 7 1/4 wrist. I loved the design and look though, so now I am trying to track down a BB 58 which I think will be just right. I think the quality is really high for the price point and they are holding value. I was comparing the BB 58 today to an Omega RailMaster. The RM is readily available online for a 30% discount which makes it priced right with the BB 58, but you can't get a BB58! So that bodes well for holding up its end of value proposition compared to brands that are not spelled R-o-l-e-x.

Took me a while to appreciate Tudor watches and get used to their looks. Then bought my Black Bay Red, and wow, it has found a special place in my .... heart!

I really don't think people think Tudor is a poor mans Rolex. That is now history or someone not looking at the Tudor Brand or the full range offered to understand it. It gives a New Brand of watches to collect as well as a Rolex. It if anything it will take market share away from the Brands, but not Rolex. It gives you an alternative to wear on a day when you don't want to wear a Rolex. Yet have a good quality watch on your wrist.
