I love these photos.
I think a lot of the reason the 6 digit references don't work as well on the natos, at least from my perspective, is less about the ceramic bezels and more about the wide/fat lugs. The bulkiness of the lugs on the Subs doesn't translate well to the naturally thinner Nato strap. It's more of a modern design with a utilitarian nato look and it clashes in a lot of cases. |

I think Nato works well with the 214270, but a single pass Nato strap is even better looking imo as it is less bulky. below is an example (not my photo)
