Heck yeah, you are getting 2 for 1. Also, the other 2 have a date window, a more useful complication than a chronograph.

I would just sell the DayC and then buy two of whichever watch you want specifically and not be bound by the trade.

I’d do that trade. You’re getting two great references IMO. Obviously it’s all personal preference, but if the Daytona has worn out it’s welcome why keep it?

Do it - the SD43 and EXP II are great watches.

SD43 is as nice to me as a Daytona, just too big. From what I hear the Daytona is one of the most comfortable on the wrist, I would assume the 43 is not close. Explorer is not a factor in your trade IMO, they are cheap enough to pick up and not on same level (just a filler piece to avoid cash). The question is 43 vs Daytona. Based on hype, no comparison as Daytona is the current king. However based on personal preferences I would completely understand moving one for the other. Personally, I wouldn’t.

Is the Daytona your only watch? Or part of a collection?

I would do it, but I don't know the values to be honest. I would just prefer to have an SD43 and and Explorer over a Daytona

Objectively speaking, I’d want to retain the best watch of the bunch ... the DaytonaC and just add the others down the road.

My only other watch currently is a Planet Ocean 45.5mm, I know that only makes the Daytona feel smaller when I bounce between wearing both. The PO gets most of the week day wrist time, Daytona is more for the weekends.

I would not but it’s your decision, so if you’re ok with it then that’s up to you.

But still, you asked so... No.

Also, it’s a drastically different watch than all that you currently own (or have listed here). I’d just make sure it is what you’re truly looking for before there is an agreement made.

I'd keep the D500 but if after a while the size issue persists, say give yourself 3 months, then do the trade. One stipulation I'd add is don't wear any other watch for that time. It's amazing how different your perception of size varies after what you've been wearing, for a long time the D500 was too small for me, I had AP ROOs and 45mm watches, yet now it feels fine and the 45s too big.

Not a snowball's chance in hell. Daytona can be the cornerstone of a collection, the other two are not.

If the market crash, Daytona will hold its value, and the other two will tank. you can always add those then.

I would, but I'm not a Daytona fan. In this case, you're getting two for one. For some reason, most of these trades seem to go the other way.

Not for me (Daytona C > SD43 + EX II).

The only (close) scenario would be take SD43 & cash.
