That’s actually a very important and point in all this

I wear everything from 40mm to 47mm. You do tend to “get used to” what you wear after awhile.

Although I love different sized references, I have to say that 40mm Rolex professionals just feel right to me.

I would but that's because the Daytona doesn't appeal to me.

No way..daytona is the best rolex sports model IMO. SD43 is too bulky.

Possibly. I currently own both, and the SD43 is one hell of a cool watch. Probably my favorite piece. You’re also getting an explorer out of the deal, not bad.
Also if the SD 43 is a MK1, in the long run it could possibly be worth more than the Daytona.

I would find it extremely hard to give up the coveted Daytona! However, I do really like the SD43. That said I much prefer the polar ExpII. On balance I reckon I'd keep the Daytona.

I am glad it is your decision and not mine.

ExpII black is fairly easily attainable. DaytonaC is a special piece. I wouldn’t make the trade. I would save up for the SD43.

At a 7.5 inch wrist, I love the SD43. I would pass on black and get polar ExpII. But I would try and hang on to Daytona and fund thru other means to get those watches. But depends on conditions of both models u are trying to get.

Agree with the large wrist comments. SD43 is off the charts (for a larger wrist), you will love it the second you put it on. No opinion on the EXP 2.

I would. With a 7.5 inch wrist you are getting 2 watches that will fit your wrist perfectly. The only thing that would be better is if the explorer ll was a white dial.

I tried on a Daytona on my 7.25-7.5 inch wrist and I would never want to wear it as a daily. The Daytona is 38.5mm. Wears very small imo. The SD43 is perfect. The explorer ll is underrated but I like it as well. Money wise your doing well as the value is around the same. In today’s market I would rather have 2 SS Rolex then 1.

If you feel won’t wear the Daytona would do a trade; what need to check is whether the balance on street pricing of your Daytona is higher or not versus the other 2 watches (SD43 and EXP2)

If you were getting the Daytona yes. If you’re trading it no way and I would rather have the SD43 and the Explorer II (with a polar dial) but the numbers don’t work. You’d need to get some cash as well.

I wouldn't but if you're tired of the Daytona, it sounds like a fair deal assuming the $$$ match up.

NO! It is not a smart move IMO on any level. Much easier to get your money back on the Daytona C than the other 2 pieces and you can only wear one watch at a time. The black Daytona C is a killer piece. Makes a SD43 look like a tuna can trying to be a Sub. SD looks great until you put it on your wrist. If you aren't a big guy and you aren't a true diver it just seems ridiculous to have something so big and heavy on your wrist.

I wouldn’t give up my daytona for these two. Heck, you could toss a 3rd watch in there like a sub and I still wouldn’t bite.

I’d rather have the SD or the Exp than the Daytona, so to get both would be a trade I’d do in an instant.
