I consider my 1990 Datejust with a silver dial and jubilee bracelet to be my "PRIMARY" Rolex watch.

I also have solid gold day/date oysterquartz and a 1966 Oyster Perpetual.

I sometimes wear all three throughout the course of the day.

The watches are kept on winders with the exception of the Oysterquartz.

Exactly the same for me... 16710 and 16600. 16710 primarily.

I rotate between my Explorer, Black Bay, Speedmaster Pro and Glycine Airman. G-Shock gets used at the Gym, Yard and Car work duty.

Speedmaster Hesalite crystal solid case back and Sea Dweller 43 on Rubber B. Two pieces I wear the most because they might get banged around a bit during the day. Banged the Speedmaster into the wall moving some items around the office the other day Oh well! Can all be repaired.

Rotate between SubC 116610LN and Exp II 216570, both on alternative straps.

Sub is the most common daily wear watch....travel watch....no worry beater. Takes a licking. I have a Patek Nautilus but the bezel is too easy to scratch and a 116509 with silver racing dial that I think is gorgeous but hard to read the time on and it is easily scratched. My OP 39 rhodium and my IWC 3717 with SS bracelet are tied for a close second behind the sub as great daily wear watches. The 3717 is the most legible and useful of all the watches I own in many respects and for a long time was my favorite daily wear but got edged out by the Sub because it keeps more accurate time (yeah I know that can be fixed with a regulation but it is what it is).

When I found the one I wanted the hands and dial had almost no lume left. With it's unknown service history and my plans to wear it all the time for the next 20 years I decided to send it to the Dallas RSC for overall service. I wanted new hands for lume and the dial needed to match, so both were replaced. Kills collector's resale value but then that was never a factor for me. Before sending it out for service I swapped in a replacement bezel insert knowing Rolex would flag it for replacement. I had the bezel off to fix the bezel spring that was out of place and making turning the bezel impossible in one direction. Sure enough, Rolex identified the bezel insert as aftermarket and quoted me a price of just $70 to replace it with a correct insert. Done!

When I got the watch back after maybe 6 weeks it looked like it did in 2000 when it was new. And I had a new smile on my face!
Super cool.

I wear several watches daily but lately the one I wear the most in a day is the 214270 Explorer Mk2. It was a gift from my wife last year. Had she not bought it for me I probably wouldn’t have bought one myself. I had handled both the Mk1 and Mk2 over the years and always passed because I found it to dull.
Now that I have it, I wear it daily because it is so comfortable and legible. The dullness is a plus because it doesn’t scream Rolex. Prior to it’s acquisition, I would wear a GS snowflake and SBGA003 most of the day because they are low key and I don’t want attention where I work.
It stays on the wrist more than others in my collection (GMTs, Daytona’s, an AP 15400 st, and the Grand Seikos) because it has an easy link and stays comfortable all day. I’m also unafraid of scratching it so I’ll wear it while doing any chores, etc I wouldn’t subject my other watches to.
I could really see going back and buying this and not buying any others.
It’s a great one watch collection.

I've been wearing my GS Snowflake quite a bit now. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I hadn't been wearing any watch. I didn't feel the need to wear a watch while sitting at home working.

I figured time to pretend things are normal and start wearing some of the things I would normally wear if I were leaving the house everyday.

I threw the snowflake onto an Erica's original strap and I've been wearing it that way for a couple of weeks. I figure if I can wear PJ's all day long then why can't my watch.

It's so light as it is that I don't even know it's on my arm and I love that. I have owned many Rolex stainless steel models bought before this craziness and they were all too heavy for my liking. GS titanium sport models are starting to peak my interest.

The IWC 3717 is a great daily watch, I absolutely love it. I had one for a long time and I loved wearing it almost every day. I sold it for something else and still regret it to this day. I will buy another. Until then, like you, I’ll enjoy my Sub.

Recently it’s been this, I love the composite strap

Before that it was my 16613 that was getting a lot of daily wear

My IWC has been my daily wear over my
OP since purchasing in February. Love how it wears and the date has been very helpful since Covid started.

I currently alternate between the oyster BLNR and DaytonaC white dial...

Recently been itching to add a VC overseas 4500 blue dial though. Seems it would make a great daily.
