3590 or 3570 just wanted some opinions.
I've been looking to replace my Speedy I sold off a few years ago.
Amazing how much prices have changed even in just 5 years. Anyways, I'm looking at 2. Ones a 3590 from 1996 no box, last of the Tritium dials and the other is a 2012 3570 with full kit. The 3590's a few hundred dollars cheaper. I'm leaning towards that one as I like the "aged" look. But wanted to know if anyone had some strong opinions either way. |

I agree with you in that I prefer the aged look on a Speedy. I'd go for the older one. The whole box and full kit thing means very little to me.
That's my opinion, although I wouldn't characterize it as "strong." |

Aged look and a nice nato or leather strap is a winner

I'm a mutant - I never got the whole patina thing. Maybe I just see it as somebody else's patina and not the watch's patina. I like new Speedys. It's the look I go for. I value the newer movements for their accuracy and ease of service over the original historic movements. Am I a pragmatist, or just a freak?
