New Price-Current Price 2500 POs?

With the 8500 calibre taking off like crazy, what should the new old stock POs, be going for?

Looking for 45 on 0range-Orange.

the older POs list for around 4600, should be able to pick one up 3500-3800 brand new.

try and get a 2500D version if possible. short production run the 1st gen PO's. maybe a run of a year if that

the D incorporates the new 3 level coaxial as opposed to the older 2 level versions ab and c

its funny you say this because i truly consider the 8500PO's to be the best bang for buck sports watch around YET MANY are available for sale on the preowned market already.

seems many are bailing for reasons i cannot fathom

I wouldn't say bailing but given it has a few years and now people are looking for other options.

i may be misunderstanding you. the 8500 has been out a few years but the 8500 PO's are maybe 18 months old

excellent deal on the 'classic' PO's

especially if it has the 2500D

I'm one of those. Had the PO 8500 and sold it 3 weeks later. Very thick and very heavy. It actually hurt my wrist pretty bad by the end of the day and I have an 8+ inch wrist!. Wasn't a fan of the grey bezel either. I repurchased the PO 2201.50 with the 2500d and am much happier now.

I am looking for a bit lower.

I have a 45, 2500, and it's great.

But I need one for a gift.

She likes the white ceramic model too!

Keep looking.............depending on bracelet, mesh or strap, you should easily be able to, with a little bit of work, find them for under $3,000.

I second that. Please pm me the AD info. Ill definitely buy a new Omega. I've owned 14 Omegas to date and never gotten that kind of discount on one unless of course you bought yours a while back when the retail price was much lower.

Really good deal...I paid slightly less for my almost new 2500C on a rubber strap (2 yrs warranty left).

Also, how about a non-stock photo of your watch? Would love to see that watch on the newer ploprof mesh.

That's a stock photo from Omega that you keep posting. How about a pic of your actual watch? Boy, what a turkey...

First of all, I bought it when the list price was less than it is now (over a year ago).........I believe $4,300 with the mesh bracelet...........2200.53.00. Bought 2 of them for $5,500. If you don't want to believe me, that's cool. I would have been happy to send you the AD contact in Reno but the ferocity and viciousness of your responses to my post, certainly does not warrant any of you receiving my assistance.

I have in the past sent the name of the AD to others (when I originally bought the watch). You don't have to believe me...........that's cool. Just keep believing you're the one that got the best deal on your watch.............if it helps you sleep better at night, that's all that really matters!!!!

Finally, just because I may have bought the watch for less than someone else, does not mean that you didn't get the best deal available at the time of your purchase.

Would you please send a pic of the actual watch? I am dying to see this on that mesh band. Front and back if you can.

No problem Pete.........since you are a gentleman, although I can tell you doubt what I had stated, here you go. If you want more, just ask.........happy to oblige. Keep in mind, I bought these, I believe in the Spring of 2011 and I bought two.......one for myself and one for my son

I picked up a new 45mm 8500 PO today after letting my brother in law have my 42mm 2500 PO and I must admit I miss my old one... I think the current prices make the 2500 a bargain at the moment.. Wrist shot of the new one for anyone interested! ...ImageUploadedByTapatalk1354992322.509036.jpg

I was offered 25% off a new 8500 by a trusted grey dealer but I couldnt pull the trigger, just think it still cost too much for a PO, maybe next year Ill pick up a used for 40% off.
