I didn't mind them to be honest, it is good to have companies that will modify one's watch if one desires to be different from the norm.

I always thought they looked cool. I’d like to have one too. I just wouldn’t spend the money on one.

I personally don't like what they do to the watches. But, to each his own!

Never understood the disdain for Bamford. While they don’t appeal to me, I’m not going to bash them. I can think of a few Rolex models that don't appeal to me either

I like them.

If I could afford one, I'd be all over it.

I really don't have any appreciation for what he does to these watches. I just don't think they look good.

What pricing? If you going to customize to such a small number and yet make profits, what you expecting them to charge? Couple of hundred dollars more than then watch's MSRP? They are in luxury market and main idea is the exclusivity and in that regards, I think the prices are good for the customization. I wouldn't buy one is another matter but if someone loaded can buy to be exclusive, I see nothing wrong!

Amen.

The disdain is because their products are ugly. Like letting xzibit put a fish tank in your 5 series.

Thank goodness.

I approve of what Tempus Machina does though, I'd hit it if I had that sort of disposable income.

Bamford no longer modifying rolex

I know most hate them but I do like a little variation. I wouldn't buy one with my current finances but heck if I had $100m why not. I keep most of my cars stock but I mod a few of them. Modding an Exp II isn't like DLC coating a super rare comex SD. There are things that are ok and things that make me cringe. I like being a little different sometimes but never for my only Rolex. Changing a watch that they make a million of per year is ok with me.

A part of me just died when I saw the Bamford Patek. WTFF?! Who on earth would pay good money to have something like that ruined?!

Have you ever seen hypercars in Dubai????? I mean a sold gold Range rover or a fully chromed mirrored Bugatti with a lion a cheetah on top. The top .0001% tend to be a little "strange"
