SD43. If for no other reason it has the latest and greatest movement. I'm wearing mine now and it fits great and very comfortable. The larger bracelet make a huge difference, the DSSD desperately needs a larger bracelet to handle its huge height.

They're both awesome, but I find the new SD to be more versatile. While there's only 1mm difference in diameter, they have a completely different feel.

The DSSD just sits way to high on the wrist for me.

[QUOTE=gtnator;7465313]You got to wear it tight my friend. The DSSD must be kept close and firm to your wrist, like a tight leash on a lion. Else it will get the best of you.

Have had the D Blue for over a year now...

Good advice above. When I wear tighter on the wrist it's more comfortable..
Especially when playing golf

In fact with the watch weight,,,I get an extra 20 yards with the driver

DSSD or SD

I owned a DSSD for a short time and found it to be very uncomfortable on my rather large wrist. The narrow width and taper of the bracelet along with the smaller dial size killed it for me. I currently own both the SD4K ceramic and the newest SD50, which I think is the best Rolex yet for me. I would have kept the DSSD if the had put a 22mm bracelet that only tapered to 20mm on it.

SD43. My DSSD sits in the safe and is NEVER worn. Maybe 5x a year.

The SD43 is better than a Subc because it doesn't have the blown out Case lugs and Crown guard

Neither do I, but I think one would just ignore it after a while.
Actually I think it should have just a little more taper down to the Clasp, but we are really just nit picking now.

Personally if a were fortunate enough to pick one up, I think I will remove the bracelet and put a canvas strap on it with red stitching straight away.

I also feel the same, DSSD bracelet is fine and I don't get the complaints.

Loving my deep blue and I don’t have any complaints about the bracelet and love the glide lock system better than the 43mm

Neither for me, I'd find a SD4K as they're still a chance to find one BNIB on the classified section of this forum.

DSSD = Too big for my wrist
2017 SD = Not a fan of cyclops at all

Again, that's my personal humble opinion

I tried on the DSSD and on my wrist size I wasn't sure if it was a watch or Big Ben had just come for tea.

The SD43 size is just great for my wrist size..hope you agree.
