Milgauss, Black or Z-blue?

I almost bought the Z-blue last year but changed my mind at the last minute and took the Air-King instead. Now I can't decide whether or not I like the black more especially as they'll sit side-by-side for that all important decision of what watch to wear for the day.

Opinions please?

Also - does anyone know if it's possible to buy a brushed jubilee bracelet separately as I'm not particular keen on the polished centre links and would rather keep that all boxed and pristine.

I picked up a Z blue over the weekend from a local AD. Had the option of getting black or white also. Must admit it was a tough choice; but that blue dial won me over. There’s just something special about how the blue, green, and orange go together—especially in natural light. Plus the salesperson “promised” to set me up with another desired piece, which will have a black dial. So she recommended blue for variety and I took her advice.

I love the blue; the only issue I have with it is that at times its as if the hands disappear in that sunburst dial - its not the cleanest for telling time. I gave it a good year or so to try and get used to not being able to tell the time at first glance, but ended up selling.
I wouldn't bother trying to find another brushed bracelet - just wear the PCL, or have well trained hands brush the centre links for you if this is a keeper. I couldn't tell you what jubilee and end links would fit on this case - Im sure others can. The way these things go, I expect the bracelet to be around $1000 - hence my recommendation to just wear the one you have.

The Z-Blue is just so different and a bit cheeky. The colours should clash, but (for me) they work. It's a fun thing. But it's got to work for you. Mine is a good fit with both my taste and my collection. We're all different.

I went through a similar decision and went with the Z-Blue. I love it.

I often think about adding the Z-Blue. As others said, the color mashup just seems to work so well. And if keeping the AK, it'll add great variety. Easy choice for me.

I like the Blue, but if I were to buy I would get the Black.

I change my mind often on this one, but I think I’d go black. I saw one the other day on a gentleman’s wrist at Starbucks and it looked amazing

With the smooth shiny thin bezel, big sunburst dial and PCLs, it makes my Hulk look quite urbane and in my view, twinkles and glints more loudly than my Blusey. It is a watch that is hard to miss if not under a sleeve.

I think the blue looks ok on paper/photos but in person I found it to be too "blue" with the green crystal. I think the black Milgauss looks clean and much more legible.

Owned the black just found it ok but nothing that amazing. Is the z blue I love it, it’s not that loud under the sleeve. I love it’s quirky not to seriousness, I guess that’s why it appeals to me.

I would pair that Air King with a white Milgauss but the only important thing is what calls to you. Go with that.

Gotta go blue. I felt the black matte dial was a bit greyish and dull.

Black GV...but to go with your air king, the blue makes more sense for variety sake.

Z Blue! Even amongst those who endorse it most won't actually pull the trigger which is what makes it special.

Go with the blue. It's a really unique watch. It's such a strange color combination, objectively speaking, but executed so well.

I like the black better and think it's the most fitting "scientist" style Rolex in years. But the Z blue dial is beautiful too and since you already have black i'd go blue. Regardless it's the green sapphire that is what's really special here, so can't go wrong
