A lot. On here we've seen Jubilees + Super Jubilee from Date-Justs on Daytonas, BLNRs, Milgauss, Subs Yachtmasters etc. So any of those.

Jubilee bracelets are less popular and hot-Swapping between Jubilee and Oyster bracelets has been going on a while. Rolex doesn't want people doing it anymore. Well boohoo.

Well since the bracelets are interchangeable it also puts yet another reason for the 16710’s prices to look even more foolish.

We were originally told the 16710’s prices were increasing because Rolex no longer made a SS Pepsi GMT.

When the Ceramic Pepsi came out they then said well it only comes on Jubilee and the Oyster doesn’t fit.

Now that the bracelets are interchangeable what other excuse will be made to justify the insane prices of the 16710 which upon hundreds of thousands were made?

A 4/5-digit GMT and a 6-digit GMT are two totally different watches in my opinion. I love the former and have never cared for the latter. I don’t see why their pricing should be interdependent.

BLNR bracelet fits to BLRO, and Sub-C bracelet fits to BLNR, so one would assume that Sub-C bracelet fits also to BLRO? Has anybody managed to do it, and if so which pins did you use?

It looks like your endlinks are tilted up against or beyond the bezel. I wouldn't call that "perfectly" at all.

It looks great but doesn't appear to fit well. Perhaps different springbars would help since the BLRO bars are 1.5mm and your OP are, I believe, 1.8mm. You'd need 1.8mm bars with 1.2mm pivots. That should take up the slack.

Here’s another spring bar comparison. SeaDweller 116600 (left), GMT 116710 (center), GMT 126710 BLRO (right). You can see the differences in thickness, as well as the spring bar depth into the lug. The 126710BLRO is the thinnest spring bar, but goes deeper into the lug.

It's funny you say that, as I was not initially a fan of the Jubilee when it first came out on the BLRO, however, after seeing it more and more it just looks "right" on that watch. To the point that I fail to see the benefit of putting an oyster, PCL or otherwise, on the watch.

It's kind of like putting leather on an Explorer. It's fun for a while, but in the end the watch looks the best on the bracelet it came with.

i have seen this done on one well-known rolex collector’s IG; and i plan on doing it immediately upon delivery of my 126710. as far as spring bars... whichever ones fit!

This was a really informative thread, especially as a freshly minted 126710 BLRO owner. As a kid, with zero knowledge of anything (generally speaking, but also Rolex specifically), I didn't know a jubilee from an oyster, but I often thought the jubilee was an old man's bracelet. I'll get back to that notion. What I did know, however, was that I thought the pepsi was the coolest watch ever.

On the SS subCs I bought, I saw first-hand (...) how useful/awesome the glidelock clasp is, and was surprised to find the clasp on the 126711CHNR was not like the subs. I guess I didn't really give much thought to all of those details (or maybe I just wasn't even aware these differences existed - I think I thought a clasp is a clasp and so on).

When the BLRO came out, I was totally in love with it - and the jubilee. I really wanted it, and this week, I became a very grateful owner of one. Wearing it, I have to say that the jubilee is supremely comfortable. If I'm being totally honest with myself, I do wish it had the Glidelock, but the Easylink does the job just fine.

My interest in this thread is more basis the fact that I'd like to have the option to mix it up. I guess that may make me less of a purist than others, but that's OK too. I'd love to have a SubC bracelet with brushed links and the glidelock clasp. I'd also like to have the bracelet from the 116710 BLNR with PCL (or from any other model that would fit, I don't care about the origin). I'd also like to have the option to put a glidelock clasp on my jubilee, if that was possible (I don't know). And I'd like to buy a few leather and rubber straps, too. Alas, I see that the RubberB band for the 126710 doesn't work with the clasp I have on the jubilee.

I get that this just means a lot of money, and I'm not planning on buying all of these at once, or even retaining all concurrently. But the more flexibility I can get, the better.

I guess I'll head over to the classifieds...

I have a 2014 batman, 2018 hulk, 2017 daytona. Which of these oyster bracelets will fit my 2019 pepsi?

Or do I use the spring bars from one watch and the bracele from another?

Also what bregeon tool do i need to remove the bracelets?

For the people that have done this is the bracelet fully secure?
