Have to agree with Bas, I started a 6 week challenge at my local "Old peoples" Gym.
First was a 2 week detox diet, then healthy options only and small portions, 3 Gym classes / week. I have dropped from 76.6kg to 71.3 in 3 weeks . No Alcohol, Bread. sugar, processed food, . Feeling great at the moment

Not an expert, but cut the processed sugar, practice portion control, try to eat clean and be active. Not saying you need to marathon train, just don't sit on you a$$ all day.

I'm not sure about weight loss, but lose the artificial sweeteners too. Usually it's poison.

way to go man. congrats.

i have leveled off. not sticking with the 16/8 as much as I would like. it has been a challenge with all the travel and business dinners.

but eating much healthier and turned up my workouts to a higher level. instead of working out at home, i am at the gym each morning at 5:00. now the goal is to just try and stay healthy as i tend to hurt myself when i go too hard.

this weekend the in-laws came over. we partied pretty good. not weighing myself for a few days.

and today i turn the big 45. imagine there will be a steak and a cake in my near future.

That's great! Keep up the good work!

I've only lost about 10 pounds since the end of January. I'm still eating junk, just less of it, and only within a certain timeframe.

Thanks guys.

Grill cheese sandwich with duck fat for dinner. Lamb appetizer. Oh yeah, and a “side” of gnocchi. And three different cakes throughout the day.

So full. Off to bed soon. Big cardio day tomorrow am. Glad I got my workout in today too. Clearly I ate way more calories than I could burn. But the workouts still make me feel better. And it was VERY worth it.

Happy birthday Seth

Nice work boys. I’m weighing in on Thursday but on track and expect to be about 15lbs from the goal I set Jan 1st. In laws visiting from DC this weekend and my wife is having her baby shower so I expect we will be eating a lot. I know my MIL is bringing up the bulgogi and galbi so I could be in trouble

9.3lbs lost for the month of February. Was slow moving for the first few weeks but the scale started to move once I started cutting back on coffee and increasing my water. Ive also been walking a lot, thanks to my Fitbit challenges. Bring on March!

that is awesome. keep it up. the compliments are always encouraging. maintain the discipline. and keep the mindset. it is a lifestyle, not a race, nor a one time goal.

i am hovering about 5lbs down from my start. i would still like to lose another 10. but, i do think i am putting on muscle. i have shifted much of my cardio to resistance and i am eating a lot more protein.

for certain, my pants fit better. and i too have gotten comments on how i am looking thinner. i really don't like being called skinny though. lmao, i prefer lean....

i am getting good at getting out of bed a 4:30, gym by 5. 20 minutes of cardio followed by 40 minutes of resistance and 10 minutes of stretching/core building. i am enjoying it immensely. I have always worked out. But I am getting deeper into it and this new routine suits me.

i am also getting good at closing my office door around 4:30 pm and taking a quick power nap. then in bed by 9:00. this routine suits me very well.

not sure i am going to meet my body fat goals. not sure if the pros outweigh the cons at this point. i am glad i have always enjoyed exercise though. because truly, the diet is my challenge. and while eating well, i have a lot of room for improvement.

great quote i just read. actually a fortune cookie

"if you develop the habits of success, you will make success a habit".

I survived the in law weekend last week and am on track. Down 23 with 14 to go. For me the greater victory hasn’t been the weight loss but what has led to it. I’m drinking wayyyy less. Only on Friday and Saturday and maybe 3 beers each since my tolerance is much lower after the dry January I did.

If I can keep this habit my body will return to a much happier weight by the time the weather breaks. I’m really happy about that.

One thing is for sure I think I’ll do a dry month every year from now on. It helps reset your views on alcohol.

Way to go, Tom. Fantastic results. I cant drink as much either which may save me some money to buy more watches. So win win.
