Thanks for sharing. I’ve got the limited Sbgh039. Can’t get enough of the looks. Great performance and beautiful looking Time pieces these GS’s. It’s a must have for every serious collector who has mastered the Swiss World.

Congrats - a very nice member to this 2015 LE "set"

I never tire of looking at mine - not to mention it's ultra comfortable with its Ti bracelet

I like the colour combination of the dress shirts, we must start a Thread for dress shirts matching wrist watches! I think I saw some matching thread about that with cool combinations on another forum, maybe here...

I looked at both of these watches over the weekend at my AD and I was very impressed by the quality and design. This was my first time seeing a Grand Seiko in person. These watches are all steals at their price points.

Before, I was considering a DJ41 and didn’t think there was anything very comparable in that category. Now, it’s a tough choice.

Beautiful! Used to have both SBGA125 and blue dial SBGA127 but sold SBGA125. Still have SBGA127 in band new condition.

Both are great, but the 125's my favorite of the two (...actually, four...)

IG has a tradition of posting your top nine, most-liked posts of the year.

I'm pleased to say that the SBGA125 made a small cameo appearance:

I also decided to review my posts and come up with my own Top9 of 2018 too. Of course, the SBGA125's included

Wow that looks like a very nice piece and very nice write up!

The more I hang out here in the Seiko sub-forum, the more I keep thinking I want to flip a Rolex for a GS hi-beat gmt or maybe a snowflake. Since falling in love with Seiko, I’ve added a GS 9f quartz, and a GS spring drive. I think a hi-beat will round me out. But this “blizzard” is so nice.

Thx

I've also wanted to add a GS Hi-Beat to my collection, but given that my (un)adjusted 8L35 is much more accurate than my (un)adjusted 8L55 I've widened my scope to a mechanical GS to go along with the Blizzard

Good luck with your hunt but keep in mind that Seiko will certainly bring in some new goodies come BaselWorld 2019 in March.

I love my divers (including an SM300MC) so I'd hate to see you part with yours, but it has to be said that I'm happy to own at least one GS... who knows, maybe after this March, there cold be a second...

Today's choice...
