Incoming - 2nd Patek after 4 years...
And yes, it's a Nautilus. Not difficult to guess which is it as the regulars here will know I have been talking about it for a while. It's well worth the wait.
As usual, the pic of the box first : Actual watch pics coming soon. I guarantee they will be good.

Good Guess Guys. Most of you got it right.
I'm still selecting which to touch up and post. Patience... Why? Relax. Have some chocolates.

Apologies for the delay, jetlag...
Well here is it. The Patek 5711-1R!! A Nautilus in full RG, as if the SS isn't blink enough I have eyed this piece practically since it was launched back in 2015. I have flipped/flopped on my decision to get this piece many times, and couldn't make up my mind as I am distracted with other "must-get" pieces along the way, mainly AP. The price doesn't help of course, it's expensive even for an all gold watch. However, deep down, I always feel I must get a Nautilus into my collection. The most popular and iconic of Nautilus, the 5711-1A somehow never sing to me one way or another, but in RG it's different. So I started to source for this about a year ago and contact many Patek ADs in the region, who generally paid me superficial lip service but never able to actually get me one, even if they say they will "put me on the list", which to some extend is understandable since I am not a big PP buyer. One AD even said they give up because they have not received the piece for more than a year. This of course coincide with all the craze over sports watches from Rolex/AP/PP including of course the Nautilus. Here's a couple of wrist shots : I feel the watch can both be dressy and sporty, and should goes well even with a casual weekend outfit. One thing is clear. The watch looks a lot better outdoors in natural light than in door with boutique lighting, and I mean a lot. That's where all the detailing, the warm of the RG case and the subtleness of the dial shines through and through. And the dial takes on many shades of chocolate, very interesting to see the watch in various lighting and I had a field day taking shots. And some close-up shots of just the watch. Having now own the Nautilus instead of just handling it for a short while, I come to really appreciate all the detailing and fine finishing work done on the case, the bracelet, even the polished centre links, they are all truely outstanding. The movement is of course, PP's workhouse, the Calibre 324C self-winding movement. The watch wears comfortably and because it's ultrathin, it is lighter than my DD40 YG and my RG Skeleton, both of which are also in full gold. If there is one complaint, it's the clasp. It's kind of difficult to open, especially with that opening flip, which looks kind of flimsy ( but it's not and tougher than it appears ). I have difficulty opening it instantly, unlike my Royal Oak which opens at the push with the butterfly clasp. There some positive to this though as it means it's more difficult to accidentally open it, thus more secure on the wrist. With practice, it gets easier and a trick to use will be to fit the finger between the bracelet and clasp to push it open. The good news is, PP is finally improving the clasp, as in the 5740 that have the new clasp that open easier. Special thanks to Patek Salon London for getting me this piece. They have been very professional and a real pleasure to deal with. And the watch is well worth the wait, and I couldn't be happier.
