model 7966 maybe, early 1960s on a stretched out 7205 rivet bracelet. The lugs look super short too. Id pass personally.

Wow, look at dem lugs! OK to wear, but probably will never have any collectible value: I agree with what's been said.

Big rose dial and those hands are edible. Can't really tell if it's a redial but it looks like a nice well used example of an older 34mm Date. It's just a nice honest sweaty old Tudor that I would certainly consider for a spot in the rotation. It just reeks of vintage swag.

The 7205 bracelet is like a savings account, some desperate Daytona owner will probably attack you on the street for it someday or maybe not. :) The case isn't that bad, always look at the lug holes relative to the edges to determine wear. On that watch you can see the hole is fairly well centered with a bit more taken from the top of the lug than the end or bottom.

The spring bars are fairly close to the edges of the hole but c'mon it's a 60+ -year old watch. I agree, it's probably never going to be a super collectible watch but to me if the price is right it's pretty much what this hobby is all about.

Daytona used a 20mm 7206, this is a 19mm 7205. In its current condition its only worth a couple hundred bucks

Absolutely this. A man after my own heart. Show me a pristine 60-year-old watch...

I was referring to Daytona contemporaries of this Tudor which were indeed 7205 (19mm) or US C&I bracelets. And I certainly agree there is room for different opinions as to future values of bracelets and other bits and bobs, I truly hope Rolliworks continues to grow their bracelet capacity and expand into other areas of vintage preservation.

The OP never mentioned the price it was offered at and I agree it should be on the modest side. I love watches like that but all the flaws mentioned do exist. Based on my usual criteria and assuming no corrosion but also assuming a repainted dial I would value it at around 1200US. You go much over that and you can begin to look at 34mm Rolex Dates and such. What do you think?

Sometimes a piece just has a cool factor despite or because of its imperfections!

Based off of those lugs and the stretch in the bracelet, I think you are being very generous with your evaluation. I personally wouldnt pay anymore than $600-700US for it. Its going to need a lot of laser welding and the bracelet is going to need a complete once over.
