I remembered reading this thread awhile back - and am now happy to share in a little revival.
Recently returned from an epic journey to EBC - truly another world and one that needs to be experienced firsthand before starting to comprehend. I have much respect for the Nepalese and all they endure. The Sherpa Nation especially. The awe-inspiring mountains they inhabit are just one star in the constellation of things to appreciate here. Onto my '72 1655 - served me well and I was pleased to employ it's tool watch heritage on my trip.... a few shots of the piece    Namaste |
