First time pam owner. Pam 000. second guessing authenticity

Fellow TRF'ers.

Just received my first Panerai bought from ebay. I bought the seller and he seems good. I got the watch and first thing I noticed is that it doesn't have the warranty card. seller says that this is how her got the watch.

watch was advertised as unworn and it has a plastic wrapping around the case. I am fairly confident it's authentic but need the pro's opinions. I spent a decent penny on this and really hope that it's real. It feels right and it looks stunning...

Please check pictures.

Any thing you can say is very much appreciated.

Kind of hard to tell. Here's how my older PAM000I came from the AD.

Here's how my newer PAM312L came from the AD.

What about the brown outer box? The watch itself is hard to judge as the pictures aren't very clear but it looks ok.

Thats actually the first thing i looked at as there was a slot in there. Im missing the warranty card and registration papers.

Anybody here know of an AD in toronto area that does authentication?
Or if i can contact panerai to verify?

Thanks.

It's probably ok but I'd take it to any Panerai AD and have it checked out.

Didnt come with it. Just had the plastic covering like in the pics. Going to try and call the service centre in the booklet to see what they can do for me

Good point. Mine also came with plain blk/blk calf strap. The white/blk croc isn't usually with the base.

Did you buy it brand new? 000 is supposed to come with a black calf strap. Ad a rubber strap. Did the seller mention anything about giving you a croc strap?

Seller didnt say anything about a croc strap. I thought this originally came with a croc.
He said he bought new but never got to wear it.

Good thing the ad and sc is not too far from my office.

Called the AD (humbertown jewelers) here and they will charge $150 for an appraisal and lady said they will check it piece by piece.

Will also try to get in touch with the SC here.

I have one more lead to check

Thanks everyone for chiming in.

If it's from different sets, would the value go up or down compared to a base pam 000k?

Better get a refund since this PAM000 is very popular among the replica model.
Some watches needs to get check at AD to make sure...you will never know.

Just went to humbertown jewlers to get it authenticated and appraised. They are the only ad in toronti. Will find out tomorrow.

On a side note, i read somewhere they dont treat you nice if you look like you dont belong there.knowing this, i wore my blingy super avenger and chatted with them about different models. The were pretty nice but i saw one of them eyeing my watch several time, guess he was trying to judge.
Before i left, guy stopped me and gave me a 2012 panerai catalogue just so i dont leave empty handed. Thanks to this forum and all its members that i learned a lot about different watches.

Another side note, i tried my wish watch, the depsea and i was a little disappointed. It felt light and small on my wrist.

DSSD felt light and small?? Just how big is your wrist? This is not the usual complaint about that model.
