Do you feel a stop when you get to the end?

Great choice of music; James Bowman would be delighted to know that you chose his voice for your video.

Great of strap too; when I bought mine from the Geneva boutique, it came with the calf vintage strap. Apparently it was sent that way directly from Neuchâtel. :)

Haftanız kutlu olsun! (Have a great week! - Sorry, couldn't resist since you live in Istanbul)

The 233 has a clutch in the winding mechanism that prevents you from over winding it. It doesn't stop like on a P3000 or 6497-based PAM. You can hear/feel it when the claw gets to 8 days on the PR.

Thank you. I did hear a bit of click at the end and stopped.

That's the clutch. Stopping is best thing to do to prevent any damage.

Sorry to bring this thread back up, but my new PAM233 (AM/PM replacing my DOT dial) starts to click at the "6" day reserve mark...... so something seems to be off. It will keep winding with a click every turn through the 8-day mark, but it again, this makes me think something is off internally.

Any thoughts?

My earlier dot dial does the same. It will wind to 8 days, but it will start to click at 6.

There are 3 barrels (springs storing energy), so I suspect one barrel is filling before the others. May not be anything to worry about.

Mine doesn't though. It feels like multiple clutches going off at the end.

Again thanks for this. Was a bit worried. Incredible watch.

Mine winds very easy & smooth and takes a long time (dot dial, J series), I just have a light grip on the crown and quit winding when my fingers slip on the crown instead of the crown turning -- happens when the indicator is just after full.

Great PAM, glad to see the love for this reference!

Mine clicks around the 7 mark. I keep going till it hits 8. It should be ok right?

Further to the above, mine seems to reach full at 7 as you can hear that click. Another few turns only and it’s at the last marker. Great watch and I’ve noticed a lot of very quick sales when these are listed.
