Saw this on local Craigslist today

I know nothing about the seller or watch, but the price seems decent for a 14060. If anyone is interested, I can contact seller and verify authenticity, etc. Osterman's is an AD at the Mall of America.

It's way under market value. I'd be suspicious.

I called the guy. He bought it used from the AD in May 27, 2006. No papers or box. He said it was a 30-day return watch. Osterman's store at MOA takes in all their other stores' 30-day returns and flips them at this store. They cannot be sold as new because of that. He does have the sales receipt. I know the manager at Osterman, and the seller would agree to meet me there to determine its authenticity and I would likely be able to learn its pedigree at that time. The seller said he has hardly worn it, which is why he wants to sell.

I called the AD and gave him the SKU that the seller provided me. He verified that they sold that watch on the date the seller said, and that it is a 14060M. He couldn't tell the serial # from the SKU lookup, but believes it would have been a D or F series. I'm not in the market (just bought my 16613 and want a SS 116710 as my next Rolex), but might be a good buy for someone.

If it's authenticated, it's one heck of a good buy!

Desmond or diamonddatejust, I don't know how I can help you on the transaction part of this, but would be willing to meet him at Osterman's for authenticity.

The ad was deleted from CL.

No doubt a scam.

I don't know, but he was advertising for $2,500. I should have showed up with 22 $100 bills and see what he did.
