Since its got all the plastics on, you must also have the box and papers with the serial numbers that match the rehaut engraving? The watch certainly doesn't scream fake, but my guess is that it is a high end replica or a watch with a mixture of genuine and replica parts. The face looks genuine, but theres something about the bezel proportions that looks a little off to me. The fit and finish of the bracelet doesnt seem quite up to Rolex standards to me (end links, screws).

I am no expert on this model, I just like to try and pick the fakes for fun and education. Wait for more replies to reach a consensus view.

Looks good to me, I'm new and not real familiar with that model but the plastic pieces left on the watch also look like the original as I don't think the fake makers would go to that extent to copy exactly the protective tabs. Will see when the others chime in

Yes serial matches the card, It's from an Italian AD. They check out on Google.

Before reading others comments I was going to note that the HE valve (titanium) was correctly a different shade to the 904L steel case -
BUT
Rolex 1166600 Deep Sea, whose HEV and case back are both constructed from titanium, should both be that same darker color, maybe its the photo, but are they?

Maybe I miss something here?

Yes. That is exactly what I am saying a very dark color (same as the center of back case).
But the OP's does NOT look like that to me!

i didnt know the HEV was titanium, looking at my Deep Sea, the case back insert is darker, but the HEV is the same colour as the 904L case...

Deep sea is different it has a polished HEV I know sometimes Rolex is a puzzle! That's why a site like this is so good because sometimes things Rolex does is hard to make sense of.

I thought
The Rolex 16600 Sea Dweller case and bracelet is constructed from 904L steel, while the HEV is titanium, whose color is noticeably darker than the stainless steel case. Also the 1166600 Deep Sea, whose HEV and case back are both constructed from titanium.

If the Deep Seas HEV is really titanium they must plate it somehow to match the case.

I really do not think so, but I may be incorrect.
Like the Tudor its titanium, which should be darker.
